In 1994 Nick Twilley started the Grande Franco Britanique Concours de Pétanque which has been held in Beauville on the 14th of July every year since. When Nick died the Office de Tourisme took over the event. In 2017 the OT wanted to hand over and Bon Coeur managed the event.
